Pavel Francouz is doing well in net for the Avs. For the 2nd straight game he nearly had a shutout. Mueller scored with 4:12 left in the game to spoil the shutout bid, Francouz made 37 saves.
The Devils were 0/4 on the PP and the Avs are now in 1st place in the western conf.
