Who is the next great goalie?
Hey hey this is my 10,000th post on CP so I thought I would start a thread that we could look back on in a few years.
Taken from some conversation of some other threads, and I know goalies are impossible to predict so this question may be a bit of a shot in the dark.
Who in your opinion/guess (from either unsung goalies in the NHL, AHL guys, junior guys, KHL guys etc) is going to be the next great goalie? (Don't pick guys that are almost great already like Murray)
Want to see which of you guys is a visionary

Ilya Samsonov or Carter Hart.
Igor Shestyorkin is also someone that should be strongly considered.
American Goalie?
Tyler Parsons.

Gibson is already great, but for some reason people don't see him as a top 5 goaltender.
Saros will probably have a good career playing with a strong Nashville defense.
Murray has already won 2 cups.
Overall, I'd say Ilya Samsonov. The Capitals are one of those organization that constantly pump out goalies. They're also great at drafting and developing Russian players. Samsonov looks about as promising as it gets.
