Nope. I'd give him another year. We'll need his ELC for when we need to extend Tkachuk with Smith/Frolik/Stone money.

First line centre? Very bold prediction.

Or he spends half a season in AHL and Tree makes a trade to find him a spot in the lineup. Kid oozes talent.

There already is a spot in the lineup for a guy like him to take.
Lines 3 and 4 will be interchangeable and have talent on them both so it won't be an issue to keep him on the team so long as he's in the top 12.

Yeah possibly. Bennett would have to demonstrate more discipline but already plays a decent two way game with more jam/upside than Frolik.

Frolik might be a guy you look at moving next offseason to ensure there is enough cap to pay Tkachuk, a starting goalie and Bennett.
Stone might be in the same boat.
But for now there is no rush to move either of them as maintaining depth is important.

If Dube is going to get 4th line minutes he'd be better off tearing up the AHL. He needs to be on at least the 3rd line.

I would start him off on the Fourth line but if he racks up those points on the fourth line then move him to third.

####....I hate this argument.
The Flames are going to roll 4 lines this season with their depth.
If that's actually going to be an issue then you might as well send Jankowski back down to the AHL too.

I don't think he'd be playing with less talent if he's playing with either Bennett-Jankowski or Czarnik/Frolik or Czarnik/Ryan. It's not a case of dragging around Alex Chiasson or Troy Brouwer or Curtis Lazar or Garnet Hathaway or Lance Bouma here.

Not right out of camp. But he’ll be one of the first call ups and he’ll get plenty of games to strut his stuff. He’s too talented and too versatile to not be in the NHL line up this season.

Dube needs a couple of brothers and since he is in the grove, best send him to China with the rest of the boys in the band.

Dillon just needs to tell the team he's Hanifin's half brother.
I kid.

The only difference in icetime between the 3rd and 4th line is probably going to be special teams time.
I'd be fine with him playing on the 4th line. Right now Bennett and Jankowski are the 4th line for frigsakes.
We won't have 4 scrubs taking the ice every night in our bottom 6 like last year.
This is going to be a fun roster to watch!
