Old Dominion pulled off the biggest upset of the season so far, as the 29-point underdogs shocked No. 13 Virginia Tech 49-35. It was the biggest upset by an FBS team over an ACC opponent in the past 40 seasons. C-USA had lost 52 straight games against ranked nonconference opponents. It was also another blow to an already-struggling ACC, as Boston College also lost to Purdue and is likely to fall out of the top 25. Clemson remains the league's lone playoff contender but would benefit most if Miami stays ranked and wins the Coastal. Assuming Clemson wins the Atlantic, it might not face a ranked opponent until the ACC title game. It's SOS will be questioned by the committee, which means little to no margin for error.

After getting Jalen Hurts-ed by Clemson Kelly Bryant has said he’ll transfer. 16-2 career starter will become the most coveted free agent around. I wonder what kind of ridiculous restrictions Dabo Swinney will place on his transfer.

Not sure there is anything he can do. If anything he helped Bryant but making the decision to go with Trevor Lawrence now. Had he waited one more week a transfer would not have been possible at all.

I hadn’t realized Bryant is technically a graduate transfer. I thought it was a standard 4 game redshirt transfer and the schools always screw the kids hard regarding where they can go.

Hahaha -- I've read Leach's book (Swing Your Sword) and absolutely believe he was smart enough to pull that off.

Love this quote as well -- if you've watched any of his press conferences or video features, you can totally picture him saying this:

Heard an interview with him this week after their game against Utah. They had zero yards rushing (seriously) and he was asked about the importance of a balanced offence. His reply 'anyone who calls 50% runs and 50% passes is 50% stupid'.
