Some of the PTO guys were solid.

Even if they would let him finish the game, I doubt he would be able to do something about the 3rd Jets goal. I know he is fast and everything, but that backdoor was probably unstoppable. Atleast we have seen Glass in action. Not a bad goalie, but we have better and younger options.

So far I've heard two post game clips from Peters. The first was praise for Hathaway in china for his apparent sharpness and decision making, second was some brake pumping on Dube tonight because of his decision making late, and some apparent "things" in his game to iron out.

While I think it's a given that a young player has aspects of their game to adjust for the next level, right now I'm taking Dube's maturing game ten times out of ten over Hathaways good decision making. Dube is bringing so much more to the table at this point.

I'd like to hear the reasons why Dube doesn't make the team. Played with great energy, intelligent and offensive.

Came in expecting to see a good old fashioned butt whipping and left pleasantly surprised. Good on the B squad for taking it to the Jets A (ish) team and making a game of it.

I think Dube will get some games with the big squad, to see if he can handle the games when it goes up a level, but ultimately I think depth will prevail and they would rather he dominate the A.

But I would really like to see him with Bennett & Janko to see if there iss any chemistry there.

Really want to see dube get a crack on the big squad. Reading about Peter's comments re: hathaway vs reflections on dube make me really wonder. However you can rarely take soundbites at full value so we shall see how that ends up, and reserve judgement until then!

Almost half the Flames PTOs deserve contracts, at least two-way depth, but most won't be getting them from the Flames. Brule looks like an effective fourth liner, total pest. Svedberg and Samuelsson could be solid bottom pairing guys.
