There were a bunch of people prior to that game saying they wanted nothing else from the season than a win in Anaheim.

They got their wish.

Also, does it really count when it was really only 1/2 Anaheim and 1/2 San Diego?

Agreed. Iirc he had a better pace than Versteeg when they both were injured yet people couldnt wait for Versteeg to come back and talk about how Jagr was done.

No, if there's one thing that news organizations are notorious for it's gathering public sentiment so they can lock it away from the prying eyes of the people.

I love how everyone wants the coaching staff let go but Gelinas has 70% support. Outside of his name how exactly is he some shining beacon?

2004. That is the only reason I can come up with.

Really surprised about 68% wanting Backlund gone.

88% want Brouwer gone. That seems low.

Casual fans know who he is but not what he's responsible for. Ergo, no blame

I like how Cameron’s says “fire him” instead of “let him go.”

Maybe a little bias thrown in from the person in charge of writing it up.

Wouldn't surprise me if that 68% was actually to keep and they made a mistake in the article. They never showed the bar graph for the centers.

I'm confused. On the question of who should be the backup goaltender, why is Rittich not even an option? I remember voting for him, and he's clearly the strongest candidate.

I love how fans are split on Curtis Lazar, but are more willing to keep Garnet Hathaway. Is it simply due to acquisition cost? Seems kinda dumb to me because Lazar is a much better player.

68% of fans saying to let Backlund go and yet 60% say keep Sam Bennett......goddam it.......why do fans not recognize players who are the real difference makers on a team? Sure, he wasn't as good as last year, but he's still really good at both ends of the ice. Is it simply because of the new contract? Is the love for Sam simply because of his age and draft pedigree? Seems stupid to me.

Also, I'm disappointed that the power play only got 12% of the vote for biggest reason for missing the playoffs. I could go into a rant on how special teams often lead to your position in the standings, but I'm too tired. Maybe tomorrow.

That is nothing compared to how 2% want to give Gully a raise.

I see some Oilers fans attempted a hijack. Major failure as per usual for the organization and their fans.
