Tkachuk. He will cause goalies and defensman so much frustration. If the PP can capitalize on his power play inducing antics, the team will be rocking.

I'm just excited there's so many names being mentioned and all could be correct.
This team is deep!

Hero or unsung hero?

Unsung hero (def):One who does great deeds but receives little or no recognition for them.

I would argue guys like Gio and Tkachuck receive quite a bit of recognition already.

It won’t be George Canyon who’s unsung. He’s gonna be belting out anthems until June.

Ugh! Benzo! I stubbed my toe.

Anyways, the UNsung hero could be Monahan since most of his game goes unappreciated, despite his absence being very noticeable in the final couple games. Could see him quietly playing a huge part in their success.

Backlund.

The guy is seriously one of the most criminally unsung Flames throughout his entire career.

I believe he is going to be one of the biggest keys in this Colorado series.

Shut them down.

Mark "Mile High" Jankowski.

A. Because he tall.
B. This nickname, this series, perfect double-entendre.

The third line. I'm expecting Neal Bennett and Jankowski to do some serious damage

I think Backlund or Gio. I think Gio will be a monster, we will see a new level of Gio this post season after such a great season. He knows this could be the year for the team to go on a huge run. He will just kill it out there. Hitting, scoring, fighting if needed oh and shutting down the top guys on each team we play.

Backlund will be essential to our success, his line can really help alleviate some of the pressure on our top line. Defense is such a huge part of the playoffs and I think he can excel at both ends of the ice, he is underrated and I like it that way!

Default Who will be the Flames unsung playoff hero?

I believe the entire Derek Ryan line will be the unsung heros. When checking became tighter, one line elevated their game to a whole new level.

I think these guys will be the key to going to deep in the playoffs. Other 4th lines will have no idea what just hit them and when the opposition matches their 3rd lines against them, the Jankowski line will take advantage of weaker match ups. This team has the potential to be a match up nightmare if every lines plays to their potential.

I think we'll see Backlund and Andersson become "the talk" of the series. Bennett and Mangiapane will also come up huge as the series progresses.

If Backlund does his job well (along with Peters getting the matchup) it pretty much seals the series IMO.
