We did Daytona but it was 12 years ago now I think. I think as a racing fan it is absolutely worth going.
We did the trip for my dads 60th. My brother and I took our dad and uncle. did the whole week great trip.
Picture below of where our seats were. We were in the bottom few rows of the second level of the main grandstand.

Kyle Larson won in his 410 sprint and finished 4th in his late model in Ohio tonight.
It's criminal he hasn't tested in F1.

I'm curious to know why you think he would have an inclination or success within F1? I had to look up his finishes on NASCAR road courses and they are not spectacular. He has a few wins and some top 5 finishes but in general there hasn't been much success from drivers moving from Nascar to open wheel.

I agree that success in NASCAR has no correlation to F1. And vice versa. Kimi and Jenson were positively pedestrian at COTA. A 3000 lb Cup car is a very different beast.
His car control is sublime. He's not just a Cup driver. He's fast in anything he gets into.
He's the best American driver of this generation by a wide margin.

Anybody here watch the Australian V8 Supercars series? Worth a look if you have never heard of it.

It's my plan for Friday and Saturday nights. Lots of talk that SVG is gonna race the NASCAR race in Chicago later this year.

He might be the best of the ringers this season. A V8 supercar is much closer in spec to a Cup car.

Very excited to watch that. He's an ace in the supercar so it will be interesting to see how quickly that translates.

Fun race to watch. The Triple 8 cars don’t seem to have the speed of years prior. Probably a positive for the sport.

Very scary moment at the Indy 500 just now as a spinning car was clipped just right and the tire was sheared off and went over the fence. It looks like it was very fortunate that they tire did not go into the stands but might have hit an opening between sections. Haven't seen that type of thing in a while.
