Ted Lasso is enjoyable, it's world altering, but it's a enjoyable 40ish minutes where I don't have any other concerns or worries.
Roy alone is worth the price of admission.
Can we do a Young Roy spin off?

I have read that season 3 is the arc they intended to end it on, but also rumours there could be a season 4?
I think this type of show runs its course a lot shorter than say a sitcom, I have really come to appreciate the shows that actually just limit themselves to a certain time frame to tell the story.

I want an Old Roy followup. You think he is bitter now? Get a load of him at 70.

I reckon you have it wrong, it's clear is his softening, look at his acceptance of Trent.
A young Roy will be bitter as ####.

To me, it really felt like they were going that direction in season 2 and I was loving it. It was like it was pulling the carpet out from season 1 that everyone is happy and positivity can win as you saw it all being held up by a house of cards and a tiny little hair. I think Ted needs too be brought down into some normalcy by the things that are crumbling around him. How could you divorce Ted? How could you marry him? He would be absolutely unbearable to be around all the time.
That said, he pours his heart out to his ex and she's just like..."Okay goodnight". F you. Like, I can imagine it'd be a tough scene to do as she's probably not actually watching the scene and just staring at a computer camera and saying the lines. But, someone says all that stuff to you and you have no reaction, to me, was just super weird. And then she smiles after like "maybe I like Ted" or something? This lady is messed up. And yeah, the dating the counsellor thing is insane as well.

I actually really like how they wrote that. To me the character was proud of him for actually feeling and voicing his emotions.

Wilde recently made an anti jordan peterson movie and Jason served her legal papers while she was at cinemacon. They must have had some real barn-burners.

Uh... do you know what a non sequitur is, Matata?
"Wilde recently made an anti jordan peterson movie" ∴ "[Wilde and Sudeikis] must have had some real barn-burners" is a non sequitur.

A couple of guesses based on Rebecca’s psychic visit …
“A ####e in nining armour.”
- Zava quits mid-season. Jamie (who is a ‘####e’ and wears #9) becomes the best player in the league and carries the team.
“You’re going to be a mother”
- Do Ted and Rebecca finally hook up, and she becomes Henry’s step-mom?
- Or …a bit darker …does something happen to Sassy and Rebecca adopts her current god daughter?

I know what "good enough for internet message board" is, or is your assertion that Olivia Wilde making a feminist thriller that's anti-JP during her divorce was completely unrelated to her divorce and to suggest that these things may be linked is completely incredulouos to you?

I think Jamie gets pissed at Zava and makes a run to Hammers

Jamie has grown too much to make that type of move now. Season 1 Jamie, sure.
I also don't see Ted and Rebecca hooking up. This show sort of tries to buck that trend, and finds actual male/female friendships

Maybe, maybe not.
If he makes the move this season it allows for a return in season 4 to fanfare.
I can see the character putting in the hard yards on the training pitch and getting pissed that Zava is still the be all end all.
I can see him getting upset and moving.

Isn’t this the final season? Definitely set up for Jamie to take the next step and lead Richmond forward.
Didn’t see the Keeley stuff coming but can’t say I didn’t enjoy it…. Having trouble getting into the Rebecca psychic sub plot though.
Roy’s bully revenge monologue was the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Absolutely. It only furthers my desire for a Young Roy spin off show.

Anybody else pretty disappointed in the season so far?
Feels to me like it lost it's charm. I don't care for the Zava character, Nate's promotion didn't feel justified then or in any episode since, and the storylines they seem to be setting up of Trent outing the gay player and Rebecca's psychic fortune both seem very contrived to this point.
I hope they can land things but I'd say this season has been significantly worse.

The writers said this is the final season of the story they wanted to tell. Could do a spin off or two potentially in the future.
My wife caught the Keely/Jack stuff pretty early. The actress who plays Jack is gay in real life and plays a gay character in many shows. I caught it at the beginning of the episode - seemed to be some sexual tension there.

I would agree, and it seems many other people do as well.

If you know what "good enough for [an] internet message board" is, a simple "no, I don't know what a non sequitur is" would have sufficed.

Good to see Ted rally the team there. Feels like he's been disconnected from managing the club for the entire season.
Still amazes me how a show can be this wholesome and simultaneously clutch your belly with laughter funny.
Too often shows and movies can only pull off the humour at the expense of the other.
