Does Sec214 abbreviate Calgary as CAL? No? Then the answer is clear.

Probably a pay raise and new title should do the trick.
Super Associate Head Coach.

Confused them with Conroy putting Assistant de l'entraîneur as job title.

Could they just not make him the associate head coach?

I think the only difference between Conroy as GM and Huska as HC is how you personally perceive the person. Most fans in Calgary like Conroy and are sour/indifferent on Huska. They are the exact same as far as paying their dues, biding their time, etc.

Given all of this info, the conclusion is clear: It's gonna be Love and Huska as co-head-coaches.

the thing is if Tanguay is on the coaching staff in the Muller role with the PP and offense, Huberdeau is never going to shoot.

Message boards can be funny places. "How can you have an opinion on Huska as the head coach? he hasn't been one yet maybe he will be good."
If that was the standard for online message boards, there wouldn't be one. Threat: Huska named Head Coach. 600 responses: "We will see how he does."

Hopefully we have a draft year like the Stars did in 2017 then (Heiskenin, Robertson and Oettinger)

I think its very different.
It was hard to know exactly what Conory was doing.
You know exactly what Huska has been doing his entire career and has a resume out there.

If Sec's info is accurate, that's got me a bit worried. It would be the most Calgary Flames move ever to let Love walk and promote Huska because he's "paid his dues." Like this is some kind of country club where the guy who's hung around the longest gets to be president.
Nothing in Huska's resume suggests he's suited for a HC role, except that he's somehow stuck around through multiple underwhelming/mediocre coaching staffs and been passed up for the role. Hey, maybe there's a reason for that. This is the perfect opportunity to clean slate after what was surely one of the most frustrating years in the organization's history, but for some reason it seems like Conroy is ready to run that back.

Isn't Sec saying it will be Love, X guy and Tanguay?
Sounds encouraging and the right cast to me, if X person is an experienced NHL guy.
(And would parallel Conroy/Nonis in a lot of ways)

Haha grass is always green until it’s not. Gotta love the ever optimistic crew that base their optimism on the fact that Flames have experienced tremendous success over the last 3 decades

Connie should listen to new guy Nonis.
Huska isn't the guy to get this team to rebound next season.
Priorities should be something like
Winning/Resume
Vision
Reputation
Smarts
...
..
Loyalty to current club
