I thought the finale was kind of hokey but there was no where else for it to go. The opening scene definitely got me lol

That scene....where the fan gets smoked in the mind by McAdoo's penalty....just brilliant.

I could watch that over and over.

I am a big fan of leaving some juice left in the show rather than trying to get the last bit of humour or money. Arrested Development is another great example, three amazing seasons and then whatever Netflix tried to do and failed at. I understand the desire for more but I would hate for it to Spiderman 3 the first seasons where it just features the characters in increasingly wacky situations with intraoffice romances and crazy antics. The show wasn’t about Ted Lasso but his character was the catalyst and the glue.
As evidenced by his suggested title change for the book. Such a brilliant scene (scene, for lack of a better word. Just a close up on a note, really).

And that kind of cast chemistry bleeds into the final product.

It seemed like those fans were supposed to be recognizable from earlier in the series but I can’t recall who they were

The only part I can remember is from earlier in the episode they were obnoxious fans picking up tickets from Will-Call?

I dunno. Are they like obscure celebrity cameos? Show writers? Beats me.

Strong finale. Nothing surprising, but enjoyed every minute nonetheless.

Even my cat was watching it intently. I've never seen it do that!

The power of good TV, I suppose.

It was the couple Rebecca ran into in the restaurant earlier in the season.

Rebecca had gone on a date with the man in the past. The woman was the one who said, "####e in nining armour", making Rebecca start to think the psychic might have actually been for real.

This guy from season 2...
