Yeah, if you look at the rocks in the house at the start of the video, and ask yourself "I'm throwing the final stone, I'm yellow, and I need to score 2", the only move I could think of was to shake hands.

And then, the rock spun back just a tad before stopping. During the measure, Edin's stone was 5.5, while the Norwegian stone was:
Everything about this shot was magical.

I think I’ve seen harder shots but it was excellent and that spin was crazy.

I actually don’t think I’ve seen a harder shot. I see the way the guards are staggered making it impossible for 2…except for this. How do you call line or weight on it? Insane.

Have to agree....its an almost impossible shot and it had to be absolutely perfect weight.....and it was.

Gushue beating Edin twice? What world is this?

Just saw a replay of 10th end of Italy and Scotland. Italy almost made an incredible split for the win.

Showed up for the bronze medal game in person only apparently, certainly not mentally.
Down 8-0 after 5 ends.

Heard Brad Gushue say “embarrassing” late in that game.
Canada played poorly but no one was beating Scotland tonight.

Just over a week to the Scotties and all the weekday draws still have tons of seats available. Playoffs have sold well but that's about it. That's a little disappointing to see from Calgary.

The round robin draws can be a lot of fun, and I would encourage more to go to those vs just the finals and semis. granted there can be a lot of blow outs during the round robin, but it is still more enjoyable watching 3 or 4 games at a time vs one or two. I really hope they are able to fill the seats early in the week as the ladies deserve it.
No idea why they chose to have the Scotties in Calgary. Needs to be in a small city where it is the only thing happening, just gets lost in the shuffle in major centres. Prince George, Regina, Brandon, Sudbury, etc…. all suitable, capable hosts and would sell many more tickets and give a better overall “Scotties Feel”. We were going to make a run at the 2025 Scotties in Lethbridge again but went after (and lost out on) the Roar of the Rings (Olympic Qualifier) instead, so it’s looking like we are going to go focus on one of 2026 or 2027 Scotties now.

Here's hoping we get either of them. The Scottie are a great time and then hopefully leads back to the Brier. Those round robin games were some of the most fun I had. Especially how the smaller communities will cheer quite hard for the underdog teams

Agreed. I like that there's a few games going so I can just pick the most interesting one and watch. Back in November I convinced some family members to come watch the round robins so I can at least take credit for 6 seats being filled a few nights in a row with some out-of-towners.

Curling Canada posted on their Facebook that Brianne Harris of Team Canada is ineligible to compete and there will be no further comment from Team Canada or Curling Canada. Wonder what the heck it is. Did she move in the offseason? Why is it just coming up in the day the tournament starts?
