Default Online Vehicle Registration

I have had a few rough days, so please pardon my lack of knowledge & seeming inability to find the information. I've never renewed online before but given everything going on, the idea of having to go out to a registry office is not at all appealing. So, we opted for the online renewal option.

Because I apparently don't have the GoogleFu of late, to find the answer - we just print off the registration & slap it in the little holder thingamabob & toss it back in the glovebox (after signing it, obviously) & that's that?

I just don't want to suddenly be slapped with a giant fine & get a lecture from the police.

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. They won't mail it anymore. And obviously no stickers anymore

A copy of your registration certificate will not be mailed to you. You may print your vehicle registration certificate on plain white paper or present it on your mobile device

But if your plate gets checked it should show up as valid if you paid for it, I would think or is it still a requirement to carry a copy of the registration? How do you present your insurance when you renew your registration online?

Licence and registration are two very different things. Not sure you can renew a licence online?

Pretty sure they need to use their ugly cams exclusively. I could be wrong though.

Big time. I remember when they did with Insurance a few years ago and everyone was touting it like it's some huge deal.

Maybe some day we'll get rid of our 1890s Health Cards

You can’t renew commercial vehicle registrations online yet. It’s not a big deal for me because I have a registry I do work for regularly.
