Microsoft announces Surface - Microsoft Tablet
Microsoft is making what they say is a "major announcement" today at 3:30pm PDT. There have been no hints, but certainly there is a lot of speculation.

Is it a new tablet? Are they bringing back Microsoft Bob? Speculate away. I'll change the thread title once the announcement is clearer.

Has to be a MS tablet that runs 360 games and runs windows 8. That is the only thing that would blow my mind.

I doubt it'll run 360 games, but hooking into Live! and streaming the same content would make sense.
Big question is will they go head to head with the iPad in terms of size, or will they cop out and try and compete with all the 7" Android tablets.
