Quite honestly one of the funniest things I've ever encountered. It's a sketch comedy series that is completely based on improv, but edited down into tightly-knit 2-4 minutes sketches that are just completely absurd and hilarious.

For fans of Mr. Show, Monty Python, Human Giant, the stand-up comedy of Paul F. Tompkins (who, coincidentally, is a guest on this show, and also has his own terrific podcast you should check out).

The second season (17 episodes) is free through iTunes as of right now, and TBQH, I can't believe they are free. They have great replay value, and I would've happily paid a buck or two for each episode if I had to. The first season is available via their website for $20 or so I think.

Anyways, can't recommend this enough.
I have been meaning to check this out. Thanks for reminding me.

Paul F Tompkins is making his rounds of the podcast circuit these past few weeks. Sklarbro Country, Comedy Death Ray Radio (as Ice T) and Stop Podcasting Yourself.

I hate to say this but I really don't like the Pod F Tomkast and I don't even know why. I am a huge fan of his comedy and love when he's a guest on other podcasts but there's something about his podcast...

Might stem from the fact that I think pie is superior to cake.

I'm pretty much addicted to the entire Smodcast network. Hollywood Bable On is gold. Blow Hard, although yesterdays was just ok, is usually hilarious. Jay and Silent Bob Get Old is great but it seems to lack a regular schedule lately.

I don't listen to Tell Em Steve Dave that often or Puck Nuts.

Katie Morgan did a single show but stopped after just one episode. Hopefully it picks up again. It was quite interesting.

This sounds like it's right up my alley. I love Comedy Death-Ray, Doug Loves Movies and WTF with Marc Maron.

A couple of newer ones I subscribe to are Today In Canadian History (produced by CJSW) and Judge John Hodgman.

Is it wrong to enjoy The Talk Show (a mainly Apple related tech podcast) mostly because John Gruber has a great radio voice?

Jay and Silent Bob get old.

I've heard 4 episodes and it's mostly about when Jason was an addict and lots of dick and fart jokes.

But I like that kind of humour....

If you're a fan of Norm MacDonald definitely check out his new Podcast.

He's utterly fantastic during his hour long interviews. His joke section each show are incredible.. I've laughed out loud to myself on the ctrain several times during different episodes.

They're all such typical Norm MacDonald jokes.. so stupid yet so funny.. and really only good when he reads them.

I am honestly shocked that no one has mentioned How Did This Get Made? from a couple of the guys who are on The League (Andre and Brolo el Cuņado)

It's hysterical. My personal favourites are Batman & Robin, Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt 2, and Punisher War Zone

These are the podcasts I am currently listening to:

Security Now - A TWiT podcast focusing on the details of how computers and networks work, primarily as related to security.
TWiT (This Week in Tech) - Pretty self explanatory
TWiET (This Week in Enterprise Tech) - Same as Twit, but with a major enterprise focus.
Freakanomics - Just like the book/movie. Random topic every week
The Nerdist - Chris Hardwick's podcast. Pretty entertaining, but crude enough that I can't listen if anyone else is in earshot.
Lifehacker - Pretty entertaining and light.
Talking Dead Podcast - 2 guys in Toronto who do an episode recap and questions every week. Gives a good perspective on the show, and points out some details I might have missed.
The Dice Tower - About board games.

I've stopped listening to the Nerdist lately. I find Hardwick so annoying now. The intros with his gf are the worst.

Its at the bottom of my list, so if I run short of time to listen, those are the episodes that pile up.

^It took me a while to give in and give Jay and Dan a chance. I guess I figured that I had seen all they had to offer on SportsCentre. It is actually very good and sometimes laugh out loud funny. Getting them away from the TSN set helps them be themselves.
