This was the Flames last arbitration case.
The second buyout window for the Flames opens in 3 days for 48 hours.

Now the clock is on if there is going to be a Stone buyout. Moves need to start happening to fit Tkachuk.
And of course to sign Mangiapane, though he will fit one way or another.
Fair deal for big save Dave, does really set him and Talbot up as a split tandem, exact same $$
Stone buyout, if that happens, leaves $7.7M. trade with no retention leaves $8.9M.
Then two roster spots to fill up front, Mangiapane and Tkachuk with that cap space.

I like the $ value, sets the expectation that the starting position is up for grabs to whom ever wants it the most; a little internal competition in net is a great thing. Although they both have a lot to prove in their own situations, I’m good with with who ever stabilizes the net this season.

Right where i thought it would be. Now the interesting part comes up. More than likely Stone gets bought out on Tuesday. If he is not bought out durring the window, then have to think Tre has a big trade up his sleeve for Brodie. Also have to think they are trying to trade Frolik for cap space. I'm not sure how easy that will be considering the ufa market right now has some good 3rd liners that can be signed far cheaper than Frolik's cap hit.
