I work close by, 5 min drive, almost enough to make me go back to the office.

I’m in line at To Me now. I’m pretty sure I’m going to become a regular.

Went Monday because of this thread. Couldn't believe the amount of meat and portion size for the price. I'll be a regular as well.

We've waved off for dinner there twice because the lineup was out onto Macleod and I am too much of a conformist to park on a major artery to wait for food. Still have never tried it.

Connie and John's/Charcut have a special Valentine's take out dinner for two available next week. It looks pretty solid with mozzarella sticks, giant meatballs, chicken Alfredo lasagna and cheesecake. I'm not sure where to order it for the general public but I received an invitation to order dinner through American Express and jumped on that opportunity.

Strange, they don't have the menu or a link to order...maybe they sold out?

You can also do curb side pickup if you call their number. Park in the lot behind them.

We ordered from Tu Go again tonight. They do Korean style chicken as well as rice bowls. Everything was fresh and tasty and the price is great. We did takeout, their location is a bit odd - in an office building by Macleod and Heritage. We had been ordering from Yum Yum Chicken but this kinda kicks its ass. https://www.tugonow.com/

Sigh... sad day here - my weekly Viet takeout across from SAIT - Pho Phuong Vi - is closing Wednesday (Feb 9). Unrealistic landlord to blame.... so bad even the Money Mart next door closed up in these times no less.
Anyone gone to Saigon Y2K at Stadium lately? That was a staple of mine 20 years ago but haven't been there since. Or Pho Houz / Vietnam Fortune? I seem to recall the latter two's beef satay noodle soup to be a little thin and mild...

I'm actually kinda hoping for these folks to succeed. A different concept for sure:

I tried King of Donair on 17th a month ago and honestly don't bother going. They charged extra for additional veggies and 2 out of 5 donairs had hair in them. The flavour also wasn't good enough to justify the $17. 1/5, won't be going back

I still go to Saigon Y2K for #33 (satay pho) as it's my personal favourite(and it hasn't changed, other than less broth on the takeout than they used to give). But for bun I prefer Van Son, over on 2nd st NW and 16th ave.

I thought VanSon on 16th was pretty decent. If you don't mind a bit of a drive Pho Going Viet in Ranchlands is my go to place although I feel that their quality has decreased a bit during the pandemic but it is still delicious.
