Well that was great. Could be some interesting twists coming up.

My guess- the edits give a misdirection. They could have easily done the same edits with pieces of ESB with the actual footage to make you think the movie ended a very different way.
Or just shut it off at the fade to black at 1:59.

Lots of maybe mis-directions in the trailer. But a lot of awesome looks.
just some thoughts
Spoiler!
Seeing Carrie Fisher in what is her last live appearance in the GFFA actually choked me up a bit, especially since Showcase played a Star Wars marathon this weekend. Showing Kylo taking aim at what is assumed to be her ship is tough to watch.
We see Snoke torturing Rey and then her asking someone with Kylo being cut in asking for help to find her place in all this.
We also hear Luke's voice saying that he's only seen power like her's once before and it didn't scare him enough. I'm thinking they're steering us to think he's talking about Kylo, but what if its someone else, what if its the now dead Emperor? What if Luke talks about ending the Jedi, because of his fear of the rise of another Palpatine.
Maybe Luke isn't the savior based on the trailer but the destroyer and the ultimate end big bad? Not because he's fallen to the dark side, but because he finally realized what the Jedi should have realized at the fall of the Republic, that they are the cause of all of the destruction and pain in the galaxy and always will be.
And what if Snoke when he talked about running into someone with incredible power with something special he wasn't talking about Kylo, but Rey?
Loved the design of the Walkers by the way. also we see the White Wolves that we're going to be introduced to in Rebels. Also loved the shot of Kylo leading the StormTroopers, it reminded me of Anakin's assault on the Jedi Temple

Ok so that trailer strongly implies Kylo kills Leia. Could be misleading us though.
Spoiler!
I don't think he can pull the trigger, I mean sure he killed Han, but killing your mother is a whole other thing. Plus in the real world I think that the fans would hate to see Carrie Fisher murdered.
But it would be cool if he hesitates and returns to Snoke who calls him weak and introduces his new apprentice Rey.
At least I think it would be cool.

Rey is in the Jedi cave at the end, I'm assuming this bit is early on in the movie and she is talking to Luke after he invites her in for tea and crumpets after getting his cursed lightsaber back
Luke is talking about Rey, implied by the shocked and scared look on his face when the cliff cracks while Rey is using the force
Luke is talking to Rey when he is saying its not going to go how you think its going to.
Kilo tries to persuede Rey to join him but I think she will rebuff him again.

I was thinking kind of the opposite, that the moment where she cracks the rock takes place well into the training and is a breakthrough by Rey.
I also have a feeling that the this isn't going to go how you think, and its just a my theory is that something happens where Kylo does something particularly bad and Rey decides to abandon her training and go after him, ala Empire Strikes back, but this time unlike where Luke escapes Vader, Rey doesn't escape Kylo and gets taken before Snoke ala Return of the Jedi where she is tempted by the Dark Side and Snoke who also feels her immense power.
The really wacky theory that I've been reading is that we get a double turn, Kylo is trying to save Rey from Temptation in that scene in the trailer, and Rey rebuffs him and we get a Kylo to the good side, Rey to the bad side, and Skywalker as the big bad wanting to wipe out the Jedi, and Snoke gets thrown into a reactor way early
