That dive was pretty spectacular. Should have been unsportsmanlike penalty.

Not 100% sure on that dive as bad as it looks.

It looked like he was planning to slow up a bit and then jump in front/short of Gagner, given where he his arm was looking to push off Gagner’s back. But his right leg looks like it catches a rut when trying to jump and he heeled his skate blade. That is why his right foot and leg were already in the air, as that is the natural reaction when you feel a blade digging in, you get it out of that rut right away. At the same time he caught that rut, Gagner’s stick took his left skate blade out. And Gagner wasn’t close enough anymore for his arm to push off Gagner’s back.

With his right leg catching the rut, and his leg out of control in the air on one side of his body, his plant leg then pushed out from under him, and his arm out already since it missed the push off of Gagner, it looks more spectacular then intended.

My god the Oilers 6 on 5 on that delayed penalty call was hilarious. Total #### show.

Dude. He went airborne from a stick tapping his skate. It's the worst dive I've seen all season.

Wow, the Oilers tied it up? Funny how they seem to be playing their best hockey of the season with McLotteryball out of the lineup. Interesting. I assume they go back to sucking again once he gets back in.

Have to give Draisaitl his due. He's been pretty good of late and the last two games without McDavid. It still doesn't matter though.

His other skate was in the air (after getting stuck in the ice) before he got tapped.

Also, looks like Tampa didn't bother to show up tonight. They should be embarrassed that this game has gone to OT.

The Avalanche lead 1-0 late in the second period. The Canucks are up 1-0. Make that 2-0 now.

At least the Flames won their bottom feeder game in regulation time.

I didn’t think it was that bad either. Everyone looks ridiculous on a replay, but he looked like he went to move his left skate forward, and Gagne caught that blade and pushed it back. He’s standing on 2 mm wide blades... it’s not hard to send someone into a face plant.

Oilers get a point. Now only 7 points back. Cup parade still on!

Also, the Preds should be ashamed of themselves.

Without McDoofus in the lineup, I like Nashville's chances in OT.

Oilers finally playing like a Hitchcock team. Again.

Trap their way to a shootout win is the key.
