Haha, ya, basically. But far more polished looking and on a bigger scale.

Been waiting YEARS for L4D 3 but nothing. This looks more than capable of filling the gap.

Could be fun. I was going to say that looks like it could be a decent game if they price it correctly rather than ask AAA prices, and just noticed it's only $35.

I'll look into it a bit. I wonder if it's coop only though. That would suck

That's an interesting question and I too was a bit surprised by the price. That seems rather cheap.

After watching a few of the gameplay videos and noting the price, this strikes me as a low risk buy. It appears to play well, swarm mechanics look amazing.

Think I'll be downloading this tonight. If anyone else buys, lemme know.

**edit**
Wiki pages indicates single and multiplayer, hope that's accurate.

Oh cool it comes out tomorrow. Yeah I'll give it a try, it's cheap why not. Can always get a refund if it sucks

I’ve never played the series before but I bought Red Dead Redemption II on a whim during a boxing week sale and I absolutely loved it! So much so that I bought the first one to play on my Xbox One! Unfortunately I know the premise of the game but I’m still excited to play it as Marston was one of my favourites in the second game. I looked at Red Dead Revolver but frankly that game has aged too poorly and I don’t think it looks like it will be worth the time. If you haven’t played this franchise yet I highly recommend it.

Great to hear they'll be using a SSD. You could add a SSD to the PS4 but it didn't really take advantage of it. I heard a rumour that the cost of the PS5 will be $500 but Sony would still be taking a $100 lost on the console.

Dreams Early Access is out for a limited time -- they haven't said how long that is, but if you want in, better do it early. I thought the Beta was incredible so I committed, can't wait to really sink some time into some creations.

Have to laugh at myself here. I didn’t give up and, like all Souls games, once I finally figured out the trick to it I ripped through the boss. It did take probably close to triple digit attempts because I’m a slow learner but once I finally figured out the trick it was doable. Awesome game, definitely my favourite FROM title, and I’m looking forward to NG+ and using the skills I’ve learned.

I missed one part of the game/story that you’d almost have to find online to get, it would be tough to accidentally stumble upon. Need to do that part for sure.

Kotaku mishears "re-target" as "######ed", writes an embarrassing article:

https://www.kotaku.co.uk/2019/04/18/...isability-slur

That word in such a context doesn't even make sense.

If you look at her Twitter comments, you can pretty much see the moment she realized she completely effed up.

Of course Kotaku hasn't taken the hit piece down since it likes clicks.

The only good thing about Kotaku is Tim Rogers. If he's not involved they're a mess.

Schreier gets some pretty good inside info too but also gets a little political at times.

I just picked up Kerbal Space Program from GOG because it was half off. A really fun and interesting concept.

But

I did the first launch of the program, a small ship with a single engine, got it up to 80000 feet, which was great, deployed the chute, and it went flawless except for my piloting skills, until I found stabalization controls.

So I did my research more powerful engines, more scientific instruments.

Launched my second rocket got up to 150,000 feet, but on the way down my chute wouldn't deploy, rest in peace little astronaut.

Rebuilt the rocket, same design, made sure I put on the parachute and adjusted it to deploy at 10,000 feet, and upped the pressure to 20 KPa. Launched it, got it to 150,000 feet.

When it was coming down I selected the chute stage and frantically hit the space bar and no parachute, killed another astronaut.

Any players out there want to give me some feetback?

It's a great game but damn it's a hard game. The bosses are impossible to beat until you learn their moves and block them accordingly and the margins are razor thin as two hits is usually all it takes to wipe out your health. So far I have found that each boss has a weakness to a specific prosthetic attachment so it's a matter of finding the one that gives you a chance.
