I didn't actually realize just how pathetic their roster is.

That lineup is as bad as the 1999-2000 Flames when Iginla and Bure were the big names. McDavid is going to become the next Iginla. A superstar talent that his team was never able to surround with quality players.

Oh that would be perfect. After he throws his stick in practice does Katz walk down from the rafters and order him to hug McDavid?

Damn, that must be one sweet gig.

Coolers are lucky to be tied after 1. They were completely dominated that period, NYR hit one post and several other good looks, the Coilers had a couple chances that were meh, and a lucky bounce sets up The Nuge for a tap in.

This Coilers team is really bad.

As I watch this game I literally have no fear of the oilers scoring if mcdavid is not on the ice.

Haven’t watched a (c)oil game in a while, and therefore have been spared the PBP “commentary” of Quinn/Remenda.

Full-on nausea today, however, as the sycophants have clearly been instructed to ramp-up the gushing.

Particularly here in the third, it’s been awful. At one point, Remenda drooled over McConnor’s eyes because they displayed “razor sharp focus” on the game. He’s reaching creepy-McGuire levels of shamelessness.

Gag. Heave.

According to Oilers radio guys, going back into last season, that McDavid has been in on last 9 straight Oiler goals

Start booking the caterers and plan the Stanley Cup Parade Route, they won’t lose another game this season now, they are focused! All 3 Stars were Coilers, big surprise!

That's one sad win if I've ever seen one. Hopefully Chiarelli is safe for the first half of the season now.

Oilers goal posts were solid on their way to a lucky bounce win against a non-playoff team.

Anything to keep status quo for another little while. Big picture.

3 games into the season and the Oilers still haven't scored a goal that McDavid doesn't have a point on.
