Indeed, but there's something really satisfying about seeing them find new and interesting ways of sucking.

The benefits will matter to them though. A lot. To McDavid winning the scoring title.

The Oilers are my second favourite team because I get so much joy out of following their misfortunes.

to quote Dennis Green, "The Oilers are who we thought they were". i thought Rattie would have been leading the league in goals by now. Lucic is so svelte and fast now, hardly recognize him...

Yep. An oiler loss makes a Flames loss just that much easier to swallow.

Have they given up on the season and come up with failure slogan yet? Whack for Jack? Strive for top 5?

0-2 to start the season, and their schedule over the next two weeks doesn't get any easier.

So how many points for Rattie and Yamamoto on that "position of strength" right wing??

My god. I just wanted to express how much I enjoy the Oilers being no good. Year after year (except one anomoly) they continue to entertain.

I'm hoping for some off ice extra curricular soap opera's this season too... subscribed!

Rattie is the only plus player on the team.

The Oilers have 3 goals and McDavid has 3 points, and really, isn't that what matters the most? Look at that Matthews loser, only 12 points on the Leafs' 25 goals.

I honestly think that the Oilers will lose every single one of those games.

I predict 2-8-1 after the date in Nashville.

Both wins on the back of mcdavid.

Coilers are the only team left without at least a point.

If McDavid isn't leading the league in scoring soon, will have to see that the excuse is. likely caught some virus over in Sweden, a 6 month flu perhaps

Oilers fans shouldn't worry this early about McDavid not winning the scoring race. Once the Oilers are eliminated from playoff contention they can shift their focus on letting McDavid free wheel so he can pile up a bunch of garbage time points like last season.
