thank god you showed up in time for the other 4 1000 page threads.

You're on a Calgary FLAMES board here bud. Either Sacku p or Tank like you're used to.

This is a viable strategy also but it's not like MacLellan is getting anything done. I look at it this way: better to have two buttheads in the coaching staff than one. Gully is like a fail-safe mechanism.

"The deal is one for one". Surely Larsson is a good passer. No?

Paid Russell $4M to 20-21 with a NMC - he must be a good passer. No?

Klefbom's assists record must've justified a first round pick and his pro stats must have justified $4M plus for 7 years. No?

He could have changed that to:

"None of our Dmen are exceptional at anything. Except blocking shots. Kris is pretty good at that."

Lots of Oilers fans now bemoaning the fact that Bouchard was returned to Junior, I see.

I love how that fan base continually convinces themselves that the Oilers are only a coaching change or a player away from being competitive. The delusion is delicious.

No.

Not even rookie-defenseman Evan Bouchard can save the Edmonton Oilers.

No one can.

No one.

The thing is whenever someone shows up and has repeated posts like this - that seem to try REALLY hard to claim the person is a Flames fans while consistently giving props to the teams' biggest rivals - it is almost always someone trolling the board.
So either that's what's happening here or you need to change your approach anyways
But right now you aren't doing anyone favors
This board is very welcoming to those that join to add value and be contributing members of the community
But that doesn't seem like that's what you are doing here.

Calling up Patrick Russell to replace him. Maybe Brad Malone was getting his hair done.

Let's be honest. Every single player in their bottom six can be replaced without any issue. They could probably save themselves some cap space and just triple shift McDavid.

They're not saving any cap space and already doing that.

I think theres only 2 forwards in the NHL with more icetime than McDavid.
