Tkachuk backlund Bennett I'd give these guys most ice time
Mangipane Ryan Hathaway same line but 3rd in ice now
Neal jankowski frolik frolik on pk and sub in for Hathaway at times

Jankowski and neal less than 10 mins if they don't come out flying game 4

Gio anderson
Hanifin hamonic
Fantenberh stone or valimaki. Could use more size in this series. But doubt brodie sits

Imo if the Flames want to turn this around our best line needs to be out vs MacKinnon. I also love the idea that MacKinnon needs to keep his head up with Sam on the ice. Tkachuk and Bennett need to rough him up
Frolik's puck pursuit, in both directions shouldn't be discredited.
Hathaway's forecheck, and physically is great, but I think he and Frolik rotate that 3rd line.

I really think Neal & Jankowski need to be limited to single digit minutes, and closer to 5 not 10. Stop giving Neal minutes right after a special team change. Give those to Bennett. Keep line direction linear, and roll with;

Gaudreau Monahan Lindholm
Tkachuk Backlund Bennett
Mangiapane Ryan Frolik/Hathaway.

I really like playoff Bennett. Hitting, ppg, high on the give a F meter, and sweet soup strainer.

I know playing at this level in the regular season is not realistic, but if he can consistently be like this in the post season then he gets more rope in the regular season.

I've been wondering this...

Gaudreau-Backlund-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Monahan-Frolik

Backlund has a solid shot to put some pucks in the net, and together with Lindholm thats a lot of two-way game, that should free up Gaudreau to be more himself.

Playing with Tkachuk and Frolik might bring some fight into Monahans game, much the way it did for Backlund.

Other things I've been wondering:
- Moving Mangiapane up
- Replacing Neal with Czarnik

So for example
Mangiapane-Ryan-Bennett
Czarnik-Jankowski-Hathaway (or put Dube somewhere there.)

Alternatively:
(EDIT: Thought of a better way to do it)
Gaudreau-Monahan-Bennett
3M
Mangiapane-Ryan-Lindholm
Czarnik-Jankowski-Hathaway

Mangiapane and Ryan get a bump up and stay together but get a more skilled linemate, Bennett hopefully puts some fight in the first line.

Thing is, if Peters makes lineup decisions based on how guys have played the last 2 games, he would basically throw Stockton out there for next game.

So realistically who is going to rebound and who is close enough in talent level to next guy up to consider a change.

If regular season is any indication, what we could see:

Czarnik in for Frolik
Prout in for Fantenberg

The way Flames are getting skated out of the rink, I can't believe Prout draws in. Valimaki a definite possibility but Flames did a poor job of prepping him for the playoffs IMO.

He's playing great, but he looks much better than he actually is because nobody else around him is doing anything positive. In reality he's just doing what he's supposed to be doing on the ice. Skating hard, getting to the net and being a butthole to play against.

He still can't finish enough to be a top line player and makes perplexing decisions when he's in scoring areas....maybe a little of what he's got could rub off on the rest of team in order to take this series back though.

I doubt Prout plays for Fantenberg. I like him but he's too slow and Flames don't need more slow. Valimaki is your answer. Or Kylington (but this won't happen).
