Brassard scores, nice pass from Graves and Barrie, and it is 3-2 Avalanche. The Panthers tie it up a bit later. Good game here.

The Canucks now lead 3-0. The Rookie Goalie magic touch is not there for Boyle.

The part that gets me is when he kicks his right leg up like he's in a chorus line accident.

The radio commentators for the Avalanche are going nuts, both teams have combined for 73 shots on goal and overtime is looming.

The Panthers win a defensive faceoff, Hoffman skates down with the puck, back hand pass to Ekblad, and GOAL! The Panthers win 4-3 in overtime.

Sam Gagner is not currently eligible for a contract extension anyway because his contract runs through 2020.

That was an entertaining game. Ennis-The GOAT-Moore is the best line in hockey.

Final scores
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=02-25-2019
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/sco...p?day=20190225

The Lightning with the SO win have reached 100 points in the standings.

The Sabres and Habs could not do it in the clutch. Both lose, for the Habs it's not so bad, but, the Sabres 6 points back of the final playoff spot.

LOL on the Oilers. The Predators win it in the SO as Nashville retakes 2nd place in the western conf.

The Avs single point puts them in a tie with the Wild for the final playoff spot in the west.

The Canucks stay close in the playoff race with their win, just 4 points back of the Avs and Wild. Markstrom with the 29 save SHUTOUT.
