Oh my god, get JD out of there. His arm looks like it's going to fall off.

Yep, that's a dead arm if I've ever seen one. He shouldn't be out there

I believe in the Jays.

How does JD get the start on this condition? That's a horrible decision.

I'm more upset at Gibbons & co. for letting him play. Grounds for firing imo. He's your best player and a great asset to move this year and you're putting him out there in that condition? That's ridiculous.

How in the world is he out. That’s a terrible replay review.

Only thing I could see is that maybe he still had a cleat on the bag when he first caught it? Looked pretty safe to me though

Yeah... so if this is what Donaldson's arm is gonna look like all season then he and Travis need to swap positions (get him closer to the bag at first base).

Y'know... between the Jays and the Flames I cannot for the life of me remember the last good opening day/night. For real I literally can not remember the last good one. I remember a bunch of ####ty ones but no good ones.

1 hit through 7 innings. Yikes, not a fun one for the fans today.

Just blow this team up and rebuild, keep the young pitchers and then build around Vlad and Bichette. Tulo’s contract is just an albatross tho

I'm not anti-Gibbons but this is incredible to watch the team's best player obviously hurting in the first game of the season and remain in the lineup at this point. I can't get over how ridiculous this is. The first game of the year. Cripes.

At least the Red Sox had a huge choke. But this looks like last year, absolutely pathetic offense. Won't be long before the call ups start if this is what we can expect.
