I'm excited to see Baertschi tear it up!
And by "see", I of course mean "read Drury's descriptions of".

Interesting to see four pretty skilled scoring lines. Baertschi, Hanowski, Setoguchi, Poirier all split up. Has Huska been rolling lines all season?

I think it's a matter of lots of guys coming back and some of the lesser knowns stepping up and producing.
Seto was on a line with Reinhart and Hanowski last game and looked good. Arnold and Poirier have been almost glued together for a few games now. I was hoping to see Hano and Wolf put back together when Wolf returned, but I think Seto and Wolf is a good combo. Skilled and physical guys. Detroit Red Wings circa 1998 "Grind Line" comes to mind.
Baertschi was playing with Knight when they were down, but Knight is out and Vause has been a spark plug playmaker type since he's been up, so this is a good choice to pair him with Baertschi. If Sven can't get going with Vause, that would be a bit strange.

Bulldogs have former Heat goalie Joey MacDonald in net.
Sven Andrighetto is out for the Bulldogs as well as he was recalled.

Flames coming out with a little fire tonight as they have already registered 3 shots on goal. Bulldogs haven't registered a shot yet. Just about 3 mins in.

Poirier and Setoguchi putting the pressure on the Bulldogs early. Both guys have 2 SOG already.
Baertschi set up Wotherspoon for a good shot too, but that was a save.

The Bulldogs goal was also their first shot on goal. Ortio baubles that a little bit.

Just over the 5 minute mark, shots are 10-2 Flames. Flames controlling the game. The Bulldogs goal was definitely one of those "Should not have been" things.

very, very unlucky to be tied here. Bulldogs have spent maybe 45 seconds in the Flames zone all game so far

Agreed. They haven't been able to spend much time in the Flames zone without someone on them or making them turn it over. Ortio forgot how to Goalie or something on that. It was terrible. You could tell he knew it too. He will probably play in "God Mode" the rest of the game because he's pissed off.

Penalty killed. No real threat from the Bulldogs on that PP.

All 4 Flames lines have had some good chances tonight. All are creating chances, all are getting into the Bulldogs zone and making MacDonald's life difficult.
