Considering that United very likely to get nothing tomorrow been a very decent day of results.

This is probably gonna get ugly even with that VAR reversal. Gulf in class here is immense.

Absolute effing bs.

Dave gets a yellow because Pawson is incompetent.

Feels like more goals are just a matter of time. I dont think united has even touched the ball in the final 3rd more than twice the whole game.. just getting destroyed possession wise

Share your wisdom and suggest what he should do with what he has available.

Annoying thing is they actually would have had two decent chances where Martial was clear but James final ball was brutal.

Forfeit. Then it's only a 3-0 loss. Goal differential might be the decider for top four.

That's the thing for me... they have decent players, but not man u level players. James for me is a guy who should be starting at a mid/lower table side. Great energy and potential but not consistent in the way you'd expect a man u player to be. I follow palace and love AWB but he never would have gone straight into their side after a year starting for palace in years gone by. When guys from Swansea and palace who are barely established starters walk into the side u have issues

And in today's football where world class players are 50-100 mil it is gonna take them a long time to rebuild.

But for all the huge advantage in play still just a counter away from being back in it.

I mean you're playing 5 at the back with 9 guys behind the ball. I realize countering is the only way you can score because you don't have a prayer of breaking them down and possessing the ball for any extended period is a recipe for disaster with Liverpool's pressing. It is what it is, very ugly to watch and unlikely to yield a result.

I think De Gea hit Pawson harder than Van Dijk hit De Gea.

it's a foul, plain and simple. Amazing that it's even up for discussion, although I shouldn't be surprised when it comes to Keane and Souness.

gulf in quality is appaling, but that was to be expected. Lindelöf is back to his #### self after a single decent season, Matic is done, Pereira lacks quality and the likes of James should be backups not starters. Add being outcoached to lackluster squad planning and that's what you get.

What do you mean by the squad planning bit?

the whole squad is paper-thin. People will rightly have a go at the likes of Pereira and Lingard, but it's not like they are playing because Ole sees something in them that nobody else does. It's because he literally has no other options. Granted, there's some key injuries too, but the fact that a financially strong club like United is in a dire situation with no depth or quality in a multitude of positions is nothing but embarrassing. Years of bad decisions have led to this.

Agreed but at least the dead weight is slowly but surely cut loose.

Mourinho left a mess that they'll be dealing with for a few years yet. But I'm liking the rebuild. Slow and steady.

me too. Just frustrated that it was allowed to happen in the first place and that Woodward is still in charge after all.

Can't argue with that.

Everyone except City and Leicester closer to the bottom than the top.

I wonder how Sky and BT can drum up even a shred of interest in the ‘title race’ now.

Squad gets thinner.

Rasford out for 2-3 months with a double stress fracture of his back.
