Another poor half from Cavalry. This team are not contenders...

Di Chiara has to be the worst signing Tommy has ever made. If I'm being honest, I am quite happy he'll be out for the rest of the game and the next game as well.

Stupid and deserved yellow from Di Chiara, especially for a second yellow.

Klomp! I cannot believe we are up right now with how we've played since about minute 5. Unreal...

Gutsy win! Cannot believe we are in first place with how the last month has gone.

I will gladly take those 3 points. Completely undeserved but I'll take it.

What a way to go top of the table. Sure, other results have helped. But that was a hard working win. It might be (cliché warning) “season defining”.

Who knew all we needed to rally the team was Escalante punching someone in the face. What a battle that game was.

That’s the kind of gritty win that can really propel a team forward. I didn’t think they were too bad in the first half, liked what Luca was doing on the right. He just needs to move the ball a bit quicker after he beats the first or second guy. Having Di Chiara and Ledgerwood on the pitch at the same time always feels like a waste, but I guess they took care of that issue themselves. Hopefully Ledgerwood’s hamstring is ok and won’t keep him out too long.

Escalante was a monster on the left, like how he and Fisk play together. Camargo was winning headers against guys a foot taller. Norman was immense in the second half. Klomp with the goal. And what can you say about Marco Carducci! Incredible

I don't think they were awful in the first half. Klomp had an uncharacteristically bad day defending, he got rinsed a couple of times but made up for it by creating the winning goal.

To hold the fort for a whole half down a man and come out with a win with all the injuries is just incredible. This is the kind of win that can spark a run of good play.

If this team can just learn to attack and defend, they might just make some noise.

With 11 men, it was terrifying how sliced apart they were getting on the counter.

We have no strikers worth starting. It feels pretty dire, yet we won.

They did say on the broadcast that Mason would be back soon. So that's promising.

When the Cavs are back and have their shape they defend just fine. Our biggest issue this year is getting absolutely diced to pieces on the counter. The majority of our goals against have come off the counter.

Mason is a legit striker. We need him back.

And we also need Ali Musse back. Not sure why the offence looked so good with him on the pitch for the two matches he played but he really adds an element to the attack we are missing.

Sad but hilariously true. I'm really happy we came away with the win last night, but to me that isn't a particularly inspiring performance. I mean both goals we scored were lucky, and it was completely undeserved. I get that this happens sometimes, and I'll take it, but the team really has to turn a lot around to challenge.
