Albert Pujols. Now there's a true baseball legend that everyone can look up to and admire. No ifs, ands, or buts about it!

I hope the unlikelihood of this feat can be truly be appreciated.

I remember in May of 2018 I was at his 3000th hit game, in Seattle when the Angels were visiting. I recall how bad he was that season and that it was so great he made it to 3000 as he probably will retire like very soon.

The fact he did this, today in Sept 2022 is actually mind blowing.

Always respected Pujols, happy he hit 700. He deserves it.

I'll always hate him for the 2011 World Series. Still, he's a class act and am truly happy he achieved this.

The Phillies are going to blow a makeable playoff spot because they went 0-6 against the Cubs of all teams.

I’ve visited the outside of Wrigley Field but have never gone inside or watched a game. Love these videos.

@JeffPasan:

Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels are in agreement on a one-year, $30 million contract to avoid arbitration. It’s the largest salary ever for an arbitration-eligible player and will be his final number before he hits the free agent jackpot following the 2023 season.

Padres gonna beat the Mets lol. What an epic choke as they were up 10.5 games over the Braves at the end of May. Never change Mets.

Am I crazy for thinking that the Braves might actually be the WS favorites? The run they've been on to overtake the division lead has been impressive to say the least.

Maybe, but it might not be as clear cut as people think.

Since June 1

Dodgers 77-32
Braves 76-32

Judge gets 62. Ends up being a lot closer then it appeared when he got 60, but let the debate begin if this is the real record or not.

Glad that dog and pony show is finally over. I was really hoping he would choke down the stretch and not get #62. But alas he did. This has to be the most celebrated record that isn't really a record of all time. I really hope the fan that caught it gets a nice pay day. Cash in on all this Yankee driven hype.

This should be recognized as the home run record.
