Also I'm not sure if it was confirmed prior or not but confirmed that the Heritage Classic is a Winnipeg Jets home game.

The Jets schedule is all ####ed up on their website. It only shows one game against Calgary.

Oh wow I'm in LA on the 8th too.
Never been to an away Flames game. This might have to be a first.

So is CP going to be emotionally prepared this time for losing to the Canucks on opening night, as is tradition?
Gut says a solid no. Full nuclear meltdown.

That's wrong. The Flames played their first game after the break on 1 February in Washington. From 1 February to 7 April they were tenth in scoring with 99 goals.

The real story after the ASG was their god awful power play. Second worst in the league, and their PK wasn’t much to write home about either.

Absolutely correct.

8PM seems like an awful idea for the Heritage Classic? Who wants to sit outside in Regina at night in late October????

Hmmm, yes, I was looking at it from the day the break ended (January 28th) which drops them to 14th.
Though, if you change it to Goals per 60 to nullify the variable of games played, they sit at 8th.

Flames schedule doesn’t look bad at all in the grand scheme of things, but of course the Oilers is more favorable. As per usual.

Calgary will be the victors against their Western Conference rival, the Winnipeg Jets just once this season on October 26th which will be played in Regina, Saskatchewan for the Outdoor Heritage Classic. The Flames will host Winnipeg twice at the Scotiabank Saddledome on March 14th and March 31st. The Flames have five meetings with Edmonton (on the road on December 27th and January 29th and at home on January 11th, February 1st, and in the last game of the regular season on April 4th) and four meetings with Vancouver (at home on October 5th and December 29th and on the road on February 8th and March 27th).

Love the confidence going into the Heritage Classic... (even though it's like a typo... visitors*)
