No people challenge opinions particularly those poorly supported

With how often you return to this well it is difficult to take this claim seriously.

It was unneeded, I needn't have posted it in the first place. The point remains that your view of Monahan is so shockingly misguided that it's almost impossible to take seriously. Your standards for a true #1C are so incredibly unrealistic that it mustn't be possible for more than a quarter of the league to have one.

As a past victim of theirs on a couple occasions, yeah, they're pretty boss poems and whoever posts them has quite the memory.

Actually, that one was pretty good. He took it down before I could thank it though. Not offensive, kind of witty. All in good fun.

I love him except for his awful haikus. Like how's he ever going to become a #1 haikuer with that backcheck of his.

I never believed that "haiku is blind."

However, I do think that haiku is blind.

Wait, what?

Somebody should make a thread matching game.

Pull out 10 thread titles.
Pull out 1 post from each thread that reflects an unforeseen degree of divergence from the original subject
List all 10 titles and all 10 posts.
Challenge: Match bizarre remark to thread title

I think that we can all agree at this point, if Monahan hovers around 30 goals for 10 more seasons, and collects a couple pieces of personal hardware, he will be comfortable alongside Lanny and Jarome in flames lore.

Sustaining this for 12-14 years is the real challenge ahead of him now, because the early numbers look good.

Safe to say it won't be either of the games against Boston or Pittsburgh since they're both in the next two weeks.

For some reason, they've usually done them in February or March and announced them shortly beforehand. Vernon's was announced at the end of November for a February ceremony. Nieuwendyk's was announced a month before his ceremony and MacInnis' was announced less than 2 weeks before.

There is some truth in the mob mentality here but your comments regarding Monahan would be no better received on any other team's fan site when your opinion of one of their top players is so different than everyone else's to the point where you may be the only person on the continent with that opinion. I have noticed that you don't post here a lot but when you do it's usually in discussions where you are telling us Monahan is not that good. I don't pretend to know why you don't like him but it's pretty obvious you do for reasons only you know. Differing opinions are good and you are within your rights to state them but when they are so against the grain I'm not sure how you can expect them to be well received. It's like going into one of the politics threads and stating you think Trump is the greatest president ever. It's just not going to be a popular take.

Classic CP pot stirrer. Continuously states their claim in a manner that appears to be clearly trolling. Then complains about mob mentality and other posters “patting each other on the backs”. It’s pathetic.

You wanna troll, then troll. Don’t sit around whining about it after the fact.
