I'm going to be quite annoyed if Karlsson ends up in the Pacific. I guess best scenario in that case would be sj over pays substantially, and he ends up signing in tampa being a thorn for the leafs for years to come.

Dotchin is darn good. Flames should look into him if the breach isn't serious

I am pretty sure if the breach wasn't serious, they would have traded him for something instead of terminating the contract.

His cap hit is only $812.5k which should be able to fit into many team's cap structure.

If you could sell it for $30,000 and you sell it for $20,000, you sold it at a discount.

In this case, the actual value is irrelevant, but if you need to state that, it's FMV is actually $30,000, which is what a person is willing to pay for it.

A discount is when you sell something for less than you could actually get in the marketplace.
