All I can get

Flames goaltending 2019-20
What does everyone think Treliving does?
I highly doubt Mike Smith comes back (at any price).
David Rittich will get a reasonable raise, but I'm not convinced he's a number one at this stage of his career, which points towards a 1A/1B tandem situation.
Jon Gillies? Sink or swim time. Not convinced.
Artyom Zagidulin? Unknown how he adapts to North America. Ostensibly there to push Gillies (and arguably Rittich as well).
Tyler Parsons? Needs more time.
Nick Schneider? Needs more time. Seems to be putting his pro game together.
Mason McDonald's time in the organization is likely done.
Outside options?

Not my first choice but I'm reasonably confident it'll be Rittich/Smith again
Hot take: the Flames' team SV% will be top-10 next year

I won't be surprised if Smith is back on a one year deal. I think Flames are going to want to keep term short to see how Rittich does. I don't see them spending assets to aquire a goaltender. There really isn't much in free agency excpet for Bob. Lehner probably is going to get a good contract for one good year which i think is a risk.

I thought of Varly before but looking at free agency i wouldn't be surprised if he gets a 3 year term at $5 million per year. Can flames pay that to a guy who gets hurt every year?

I think Smith will sign with the Oilers to play under his old pal Tippett again.
Talbot or Nilsson will sign with the Flames to play in tandem with Rittich.

If Florida signs Bobrovsky, I can see James Reiner here.

I wouldn't mind Reimer, but I think Florida could see him as their ideal #2 with Luongo's future uncertain.
Edit: but who knows, maybe both those guys are gone next year. They could want Montembeault to be their backup.

Gotta think they will kick tires on Lehner, Mrazek and Varlamov. Possibly even Talbot who might bounce back behind a better team.

Talbot would be cool, but from what I've read, it seems like he'll stay in Philly

I'm fine with Smith/Rittich. That tandem won the Western Conference. For the first time since Kipper left, the goalies weren't the problem.

Smith absolutely redeemed himself near the end of the season. But I still think there are better options.

Rittich
Mrazek (In case Carolina is dumb)
Varlamov (IF someone doesn't go crazy and give him4+ mil)
Lehner (On the slight dumb chance the Islanders don't want him)
Nilsson

My guess?
NHL:
1. Jonathan Quick (salary retained by LA)
2. David Rittich (2 year deal, cheap)
AHL:
1. Tyler Parsons
2. Artyom Zagidulin
ECHL:
1. Nick Schneider
Jon Gillies will be playing for the Kings.

I have no clue, but I'm guessing that whoever it is will be in the running for the vezina next year. I just have a feeling that it'll start coming together this year...
