Overall, a weak episode, probably the worst of the season. I don't blame the host - she was game, but the sketches were flat.

Baldwin's Trump impersonation is tired, and does not hit hard enough. Beck is great as Putin though. The monologue was weak - the best they could come up with is her name is hard to pronounce?

Welcome To Hell (looked like a Katy Perry video) had a great message, but again did not hit hard enough in my mind. Women seem to be loving it on social media, so maybe I'm not really the intended audience.

I like Kyle Mooney, but his avant-garde comedy is never going to be a broad hit with the audience.

This Week's Best SNL Sketch Proves That Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett Should Just Run the Whole Show Already

Mikey Day carried most of the show, and was central in most of the bits. I liked the "sandwich position" with his Wife Leslie Jones.

U2 - first time hearing these new songs, and I really only liked the second song. When Bono pulls out the bullhorn, you know he thinks he has something important to say.

I thought the episode really fell flat. I am sick of Baldwins Trump. When they person you are trying to portray is more outrageous in real life than your caricature it just doesn't work for me.

I found myself waiting for the funny parts of the sketches as they finished.

I did discover that I love an Irish accent...

Now I may have had too many drinks at the Xmas party but I do declare this is the funniest show of the season.

I was dying during the spelling bee skit. That was hilarious.

She explains it here. NSFW'ed for language.

That episode was fantastic. I don't think there was a bad sketch on the night. I know they are catching flack for Sexual Harassment Charlie but the way Keenan Thompson played it I was pissing my pants.

I like Kate, but her British accent sounded a little too German for my liking. It's like she got confused and thought she was doing Merkel.

Foo Fighters playing the Charlie Brown music isn't something I knew I wanted until I saw it.

When they did the goodbyes from the rink, at first I thought it was odd that Kenan was the only one who looked like he'd ever been on skates before (and wasn't wearing rentals), but then I remembered that he was a Mighty Duck.

Foo Fighters playing Baby Please Come Home and the Charlie Brown theme was f'n great.

The rest of the show sucked. They should have had Dave Grohl host instead. Kevin Hart is terrible.

I usually don't mind Kevin Hart but I agree he wasn't very funny last night. Monologue was rough

That was a very disappointing Christmas episode. Usually they pull out all the stops - cameos by huge stars, the best skits...seems like none of that happened on Saturday unfortunately.

Anyone get the feeling that they said F it, let's ditch a skit and go skating for a few minutes.

Caught up on the episodes I missed. Kevin Hart was terrible and all the sketches were terrible.

Franco was great and all the sketches were great. Leslie Jones retching was hilarious. It actually fit the sketch well even though it was for real but they played it so well like it was part of the sketch and didn’t seem out of place. SNL at its best when stuff like that happens.
