Ruff may be the greatest example of the goatending-coaching correlation. Takes Buffalo to the finals and later rounds with Hasek. And later peak Ryan Miller.

Green is also a better coach than his time in Vancouver. He wasn't the reason those Canucks sucked while he was coaching in Van. Selfish and lazy players were.

Kypreos just now on Kyper and Bourne, with his forehead resting in his hand after it was announced, saying in disbelief and frustration: "Why... Didn't they get a goalie??"
He also says that what he's heard is that Jersey were the ones who changed the parameters of the deal that was in place and because of that last minute revision, Conroy pulled the chute.
Edit - Kypreos is also saying he's heard that there are 2 factions in Jersey. One he calls the "analytical group" and the other group, where the analytical group is suggesting that the Devils can be good without Markstrom vs the GM and the other side who are pushing for Markstrom.
