I did know that actually, but the fact of the matter remains that United's international stature only exists because their fans are used to their team winning almost all the time.

You take a bunch of fans that picked a team because they win a lot and then that team stops winning all the time you're going to wind up with a whole bunch of brand new Barca or Real fans.

They'll be City fans by the end of the year. Still allows for them to hate Liverpool at least.

Apparently Mourinho knows 'something about winning.'

Just not in Manchester and not today.

I think he's just disappointed he doesn't have Wenger to beat on anymore.

I just think hes disappointed that he doesnt have Wenger to deflect blame to anymore.

Jose Mourinho's "At Least I'm Not Wenger" defense no longer flies.

I’m pretty pumped that Spurs won that. I did expect it to be closer on the scoreboard, and in some ways it should have been. Had Lukaku scored (and he obviously had to have that one) it might have been an entirely different outcome. At the same time though, Dele should have potted at least one and I think that was a penalty on Lucas in the first half.

United wasn’t horrible though. They had a couple chances and just got caught once or twice; it’s a brutal game that way and for once we were on the right side! I have no love for Mourinho, and watching him self destruct is amusing, however Sanchez and Pogba in particular are just offering nothing at this point. For a couple professionals being handsomely paid you would expect a little more.

Oh why, did you not get enough penalties for your liking??

The ref was almost the United MOTM! And how in the world did they get to 5 added minutes? It’s ridiculous. That’s not specific to this match, as the outcome wasn’t in doubt, but seriously that was far longer than it should have been.

oh well, he only gave 1 minute in the first half, which seemed very low given the time for treatment. Also 3 goals and 6 substitutes should be an automatic 4 minutes ... so a weird thing to complain about, especially in a 3-0 win.
