I don't think Hubredeau will ever come close to his 115 point season but I do expect he will be closer to the 70-80 point range and don't see anyone else having that high of an improvement.
I actually don't think we will see much difference from Mangiapane, Markstrom or Kadri next season. Last year I think they performed at the level I would expect from each of them.
Kylington a wild card because it would depend on what you consider a redemption arc. If he comes back and is an ok-ish player like he was before is that a redemption story because he didn't play at all? Technically it would be the biggest improvement going from nothing to meh but to me that doesn't really mean much.

Hubby seems the obvious choice, as he had such a sub-par year.
I guess Marky too, but I like Hubby’s chances at 75 points better than Marky posting a .910.
Now, if both happen, the Flames may be back in business.

Rooting for Huberdeau. I'd be thrilled for all 5.

Huberdeau. A more uptempo system is really going to bring him back.

Is Kylington coming back?
My vote would be Huberdeau. I think Kadri is going to be even worse.

My vote is Huby, but the most important would be Marky. A 1A/1B scenario with both Marky and Wolf firing on all cylinders, and Huby even being at or slightly below PPG would do wonders for our place in the standings.

Most important is quite easily Markstrom. Doesn't matter if Huberdeau puts up 100 points, Andersson wins the Norris and Backlund is a Selkie nominee. It all goes down the toilet if Markstrom ####s the bed again. So I sure hope he has it in him to be at least a top 10 goalie again.
Afterwards is Huberdeau. Flames need a dynamic playmaking forward and he was a legit superstar before arriving here. Hopefully his troubles can be attributed to Sutter forcing a square peg into a round hole and he can have a bounce back season.

Why do you think Kadri will be worse?

I guess we'll find out next year if Huberdeau's issues were Sutter related or if his contract is going to make Nurse blush

I think, if Hanifin is traded, Kylington will be provided an opportunity to make some noise with Tanev. He deserves more pp time too. If Hanifin isn't traded then I think Kadri is going to show us why his contract should at least be a good one for the first 4 years of it.

Mathew Phillips signs a one year 'show me' contract. Starts on the third line, but by the end of the year works his way up to the first line, as the legitimate threat Calgary has been searching for. Is offered a legitimate contract by Connie, but takes 1M less to go play in Florida!

I’m with Spurs in many ways. To answer the question I’ll go with the obvious choice of Huberdeau. The question really depends on the style of coach they bring in. If they’re allowed to run and gun more, Huberdeau. But I honestly don’t expect much of an improvement from the aging guys, honestly. They got their big contracts, and I’m not sure there is that incentive to kill it. If he’s still with the flames I’d expect Lindholm to do amazing in a contract year specifically.

Tanev wasn't the same guy either. I think Kylington saved his body a lot.
We may not have a stacked roster but we have talented players that people are severely underratimg especially Huberdeau. People act like he's Bernie Nichols.
