The Leafs are in perpetual “win now” mode and that was Treliving’s MO in Calgary. He’s also a great communicator which is a must in Toronto. Will certainly be interesting to watch.

The positive about ownership apparently not seeing eye to eye with Treliving, is they'll likely block any deals with the Leafs. I personally think one of Nylander or Marner would be nice on the Flames, but acknowledge I'd rather now have Conroy deal with Treliving until he gets more comfortable in the role.

Doesn't really need to improve them, they've been nearly a .700 team for three seasons now.
They'll probably just get some bounces and have a hot goalie next playoffs and win it all just because.....
