Terrific game! Thought the Flames brought the drive and intensity we expect from a "Sutter team"....

All lines firing on all cylinders, and, absent a couple of errors an all-around gutsy performance coming back to win.

Pelletier was just fine and I liked they got him a wee bit of time on PP2.

Flames still need to fix PP1 - still way too much dicking around in the back end, but other than that...the crowd went home fat, dumb and happy. What's not to like?

Best game all season.

Hopefully they keep rolling Vladar and put Pelts on the 2nd line.

Funny how the team looks more faster and more energetic when young hungry players are inserted in the line up even if they are small.

Dang, I was so into giving the Flames the silent treatment, that I forgot about the early start…

Good first game for Pelletier. His ice time was carefully managed, but he didn't look nervous or in over his head.

Nice to see Coleman get rewarded with an empty netter. The guy battles as hard as anyone on the team.

The Flames may not be exciting, and they may not play with much flare or swagger, but that was a very solid win. Good contributions from a lot players and a well-rounded game.

For his first NHL game getting 6 and half minutes is ok I guess to get his feet wet. Just wish he'd get a few shifts with Huberdeau.

Coleman plays the game the right way. Say what you will but Vladar is in the making of a a real goalie. Hes a winner. If Sutter can shift gears we have something here.

I don't think they do much of that stuff today. They usually just cut to a bunch of different stories and interviews.

If this was the Grease today there would have been 30 minutes of McHobo knob slobbering.

My only issue today was the 5 on 3. Nearly scored late in the first but came out with no plan in the second. You don’t get those gifts often.

And with the Tampa game behind them the flames jostle their way to the bottom of the strength of schedule - albeit tightly bunched with the Oilers and kraken

Excellent effort. Better team won today. Liked Pelletier and hope he gets a few more games.

You know there’s parity when Tampa can lose to a bottom feeder like Calgary.

Seriously though, full marks to the Flames for not folding like a cheap tent after going down 2-1. That Dube 4-2 goal was huge. And obviously the PK was the massive tonight, along with solid goaltending from our new #1.

P.S. Perry is still a dbag in case there was any doubt.
