How so? Tanguay is hardly known as a Flame so much as an Av IMO. And promoting a minor league affiliate coach is not really an Oilers phenomenon - a lot of other teams have done it, and Calgary did as well.

Meh, I don't see it that way. What I'm seeing is a fun turn around. These people aren't staying or coming back for any other reason than they love it here. Not to parade some bygone eras success and lord it over anybody.
Feels like all these guys want one thing, a Stanley cup in Calgary. This doesn't feel anywhere near Cronyism like McTavish and Lowe.
