Dear Dear isn’t 54-40’s best album but I always thought it was cool that its runtime showed up on my old CD player as 54:40.

Reminiscing about some classic 90's unique sounds tonight, and I forgot how ####ing cool Beck's "Odelay" was. That whole album is gold, but here are some snippets. I forgot how he referenced William Shatner's video of "rocketman" in the first clip, but that's just pure amazing.

ALL ABOARD!
I loved this album in University. I need to track down where the CD is because I can't find a stream or torrent of it.

One of my favorite guitarists covers Frank - absolutely amazing. Mark recorded this album for his daughter who was born with Downs - what an amazing artist. Recorded with a lot of Sinatra’s old band as well

Tim Henson is the best guitarist in the world and Polyphia is my favourite band. This the first song they've released in 3 years.

Combat Rock was the first cassette (along with Purple Rain) I got with my new walkman as a kid. It came out 40 years ago today. I feel so old.

Two versions of the same song. Both beautiful. RIP, Vangelis.

This is wild, I just came to post that I was basically mirroring the track list as best I could through searching online. Now I am in a Face to Face, Lagwagon, Propaghandi, Hi-Standard inspired emotional wormhole, nostalgia, missing punk music, wishing I still had all my old CDs.

Kiko, the best Los Lobos album IMHO, turns 30 on this otherwise crappy day.
