It's not a hot hatch. It's a Yaris.
And since when has the Yaris ever not looked stupid?
Toyota saves all of its passable hatchback design for Lexus.

+250 HP, 0-100kmh 5.5 seconds in a subcompact doesn’t qualify as a ‘hot hatch’ anymore?

When the Yaris was first released, a poster on an automotive enthusiast forum I frequented summed it up perfectly when they said (paraphrasing) "Oh look, Toyota built another little weirdo car".

My face is a bum!

I still think the first generation Mazda 3 hatch is near the pinnacle of economy car styling. Those things were great, until you got a mild drizzle and they instantly turned to rust.

I would actually say the second generation myself.
It just looks so unbelievably happy to be a car.

Long story short, I'm an idiot who needs to stop putting things on his roof, and need someone to help me with fibreglass repair. Any recommendations in town?

The only one I know is Glenmore Boats. If it's good enough for a boat, it'll probably at least be water tight! I doubt they do cars though.

It's actually not the car, I had a brain cramp and drove into an underground garage, forgetting that I had my fibreglass rooftop tent up there. Created a nice couple of gashes.
Id attempt to fix it myself, but I have no storage for it at the moment so need to leave it on the car that I park outside..and things like snow are not particularity welcome when I can poke my finger through.

Ah, in that case Glenmore boats could probably help you out (and store it while the fix it. Take your time, guys).

Where's the best place to get remote starters installed? Better to buy online and get installed locally, or are there competitive places for both purchase and install?

You are probably better to buy it from them as opposed to bringing one in. They know what they are doing. Did a great job on our Subaru, and I think $200 cheaper than the dealer, with a better starter.

I dunno if this is one upmanship, or self deprecating humour — hopefully make ya feel better...
I had a 2013 Golf R. We gotta family cabin, in Windermere. Had both bikes on my roof rack, heading back from the cabin. It was raining the whole damn way home, which is rare for that drive all the way to Calgary. So i had my sunroof, visor closed.
...
Pulled up to my condo parkade door. Buzz my window down, still pissing rain.. quickly beep the garage reader, to avoid getting too wet.
...
The ####ing rack bars affix to the roof, with these little nibs, and tore the roof about 3 inches on one side.
$13k insurance claim. Fortunately, not too many neighbor’s around for my panicked, and embarrassing clean up.

Not nearly as pricey. Brake lever, & grip on one.
On the other, I bought it with those triathlon forward bars, which were busted, and I was cool with.
