Lydman.

Yeah, never did see him as a lewd man while he was here.

Acquiring this player is a solid shot in the dark. His OHL production is crazy. And he's not an over aged player. This is good. Looking forward to tracking his progression through the ranks. A RHD set up man like that always has been a pretty good indicator of a solid NHL career.

Two guys with 1000 NHL games.
I'll take that.

Leddy was damn good in his prime.

It might be the Kitchner Rangers jersey but when I watch his highlights he does remind me a lot of Fox.
Similar intelligence both with and with out the puck. Without the puck he plays his angles really well, and makes intelligent reads to break up plays that young d-men don't always see.
And offensively he creates space for himself in really creative ways to be able to make a good pass or get an open lane for a shot.
It's so similar to Fox (or maybe Jared Spurgeon, or Brock Faber as less ambitious comparisons) where they maybe aren't the biggest, or fastest, but their intelligence and poise on the ice really shines through.

Brewsky should turn into Adam Fox for the Flames
The hockey gods owe us that after what Fox did
Amirite?
BTW I'm not in charge of nicknames, but Brewsky would be a pretty good one for him IMO

There could be of course, but more likely IMO that he is just focusing on the new and the positive - read the room and talk to your audience.

From what I understand he didn't see much of an opportunity in Vancouver going forward given what the right side of their D looks like.

I wonder if he's seeing himself as having to compete against Hughes in Vancouver vs no Hughes here?

So Brewsky turns 20 in November, I don't suppose he can go the AHL next season? It's either NHL or CHL?

I think it has been posted that he can join the Wranglers next year because of his late birthday. Just like Honzek. Somebody posted that Lipinski could, as well.
