Is DeBrusk the pick we traded to Boston for Dougie?

Not concerned at all about the result. I thought they actually played well considering they didn't seem to be in synch. One of those games and it's preseason game two. All these guys are gearing up for the season and we see it every year.

I liked the defensive game especially on the PK. I thought they tried get more stuff going on cycle but it wasn't consistent. I liked Bennett and I hope he keeps building.

I see big things for this group this year, I'm very excited.

No. They went way off the board and took Senyshyn with our pick.

The one after Senyshyn (Barzal) is of course, getting all the fanfare and at the expense of the Oilers. Which is always hilarious.

Dirty cross checks in preseason are not cool.

Will be able to better gauge things when they get back and up to speed.

Dube is most definitely hot on Hathaway and Lazars heels for the 12th spot.

Of these replacement guys who played today, only Andersson should stick around long at camp based on how they did today.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mangiapane in the lineup with the big boys when they put the squads together.

Peluso was awful. Bad play after bad play.

Klimchuk and Lazar were chasing a lot. Hard to judge though based on the quality of their line mate.

Just be glad that he's the one son of a former-Oiler who the Oilers didn't get their hands on.

Liked Andersson, didn't see any glaring issues from him.

Really enjoyed Bennett and Jankowski today. Thought they had good games.

PK was excellent, the power play needs work although I do believe the bad ice cost them a goal today.

I still didn't really see it out of Bennett, and seeing a guy like debrusk terrorize us is just salt in the wound- he plays the game I wish Bennett would.

What a lemon.

Interesting to see Andersson played primarily on his off side, sure looks like they are testing a bottom pairing with Stone and Andersson and Kulak watching. Certainly slows down the need to move a body if so.

Thought the powerplay was brutal. I love Mark Giordano but they can't have him run the powerplay.

I thought he looked very good. He mishandled the puck and turned it over for the winning goal so ultimately he wears the goat horns but I'm glad Calgary has him. I don't stress out at all when he's in net. It's a feeling I haven't really had since Kipper was around.

I only saw half the game, but thought that Bennett and Jankowski looked good together, while Hathaway looked terrible. Frankly, Bennett and Janko looked more dangerous when they were together on the PK. They really need an NHL-caliber RW to reach their potential.
