I’d be more inclined to brush off the goaltending struggles as preseason rust if the exact same guys didn’t also crap the bed last year. I’m thinking we may have to consider bringing in Mason or Lehtonen on a PTO because if they don’t miraculously get better we’re gonna be hooped when Mike Smith’s annual injury happens.

I don't read much into preseason goalie performances in terms of timing, but I do want to see solid fundamentals.

The early returns on dube are looking pretty hard to ignore.

Not great goaltending or anything but hard to ignore goals.
