Ducks-Sharks swap picks

After a disappointing regular season, we now look forward to retooling and preparing for the 18-19 season. Having several picks in the 1st two rounds positioned us well and after a few PMs back and forth we were able to make a deal with MJK.

To the Ducks
6th overall

To the Sharks
15th overall
Conditional top 20 1st - condition now voided
3rd rd pick

So basically 2 mid first round picks and a 3rd to move up. Will have to research more but hoping getting up to 6 will get us an impact player. Still have 12 and 21 in the 1st round as well as a high 2nd round pick. Those picks likely will be in play for a trade as I have the cap space and would like to compete more next year.

Forgot to post here on this trade. Basically we were a bit handcuffed, owing the top 20 1st was not ideal and we will avoid doing those types of conditions in the future. Thanks to Ravi for working out a deal to get it done.

We decided to do this deal because we got to keep a 1st as opposed to having to find one elsewhere.
