As said before pick someone else then. Maybe bad example I agree. How about a guy like Ric Flair who has slept with thousands of women? There. Ric Flair.

You are correct on the movie name.

Opening scene from The Bridge (2006), a documentary about Golden Gate bridge suicides. Powerful and shocking scene and the end of the clip

This conversation got weird quick.

Ok let’s ignore the Hussein thing for a moment because wanting to be two torturous psychopaths is admittedly a bit odd.

But I don’t think it’s odd for any man to wonder about fulfilling their every sexual desire. It’s literally the entire purpose behind the porn industry, which I’m led to believe is somewhat popular.

So if you pick any famous man be it a movie star or athlete or whatever to emulate because of their ability to get women, is that gross?

If men truly did have access to a holodeck style device that allowed them to live out these fantasies would most men do it? Do we not already assume that most rockstars, athletes, celebrities do act on their desirability to women? Isn’t Derek Jeter a hero for banging a bunch of supermodels? Hell, look at a show like Entourage where the entire premise was a show about an actor doing just that and how jealous his friends were.

It raises some interesting questions about our biological predisposition to procreation and our societal norms and how men are raised and brought up and how that effects their sexual desires.

Maybe if a holodeck device did exist men would grow tired of the experience knowing it is nothing but programmed simulations and they’d want a real human partner. Or maybe it would spell the end of the human race where all men are willingly and intentionally put into a permanent comatose like state where they just live in a virtual world where they spend all day in what basically amounts to a GTA simulation. Then it really would be like the matrix where men are incubated and harvested while they live in VR, meanwhile the women living in the real world establish world peace and live prosperously without us just extracting sperm for procreation purposes when they need to.

Sounds like a win win if you ask me, now that I think about it.

I wonder if the Random Thought thread isn’t the exact same, OG version of this.

Everytime I enter an elevator I get this voice in my head that tells me I should press the button of every floor.

This would probably happen if people tried to wear skates:

Your sickle idea for skate blades probably would be a better idea for skate blades.

When I start up the bandsaw at work. I have the thought of just cutting off the tip of my finger.

I'm scared of heights but whenever I get up high there is the urge to just jump off.

Driving into a head on collision is another one.

I recently had someone describe these types of thoughts as "id " thinking or some jazz. Basically compulsive insane thoughts.

Sometimes I think I should be worried about.
It is going to happen at some point so why worry about it? We are overdue actually. Welcome to the mid 1800's.

I went a little crazy when I was 18 and spent the winter climbing alone in Joshua Tree California. I imagined angels would catch me if I ever fell. It was cool because I had the whole park to myself most days. One time I was walking off a route I had just climbed and back to the ground when I heard a man's voice say "Boy...that's just about the most dangerous thing they is". There were days and days where I wouldn't see another person at all so I was surprised to see a family of four leaning up against their motor home, their dad a giant fat man with shorts, flip flops, an FBI t-shirt on and a camera wrapped around his much too thick wrist.

What pops into my head now is the accent...The way he said "they is"...a southern lilt that seemed so out of place in the desert. Some days it repeats in my head like that "they is they is they is". "The most dangerous thing they is."

I wonder if these ways of speaking indicate intelligence or not. I mean, there are Ivy League graduates that speak with weird regional idioms. It’s not an accent thing, it’s the words and syntax they use. I guess people are raised to speak in a certain way, but obviously they are intelligent enough to graduate from university and be successful in there careers. I guess I would expect that somebody highly educated would speak closer to proper English.
