Why is the game not over? Clear strikeout there.

That was brutal, could have been a disaster call.
Big win!! More clutch hitting, Sanchez dominant. Solid defence too.

And Osuna makes history!! Youngest ever to 100 saves!
@SNstats
At 23 years, 62 days old, #BlueJays# Roberto Osuna becomes the youngest pitcher in MLB history to record 100 career saves

Well, this is a heck of a lot more fun than last year's 1-9 start. Loving these late inning heroics.

Grinding out some wins, couldn't do this to save our life last year.

Totally! This is so far from what I expected the start of the season to be like.
Our starting pitchers have been our MVPs so far.

Great game, love watching a good old fashioned pitching dual. Outside of a couple of games the Jays pitching has been really good and given them a chance to win most of the games.
So much for sitting Grandy, multi hit game with a huge clutch homerun.

So I noticed Sanchez seemed to use the change up way more than usual and the curve way less. He also seemed to have way less velocity only really hitting low 90's with his fastball when he's usually mid 90's. Tons of movement though on everything. Almost seemed like he pulled a page out of Estrada's play book with just a touch more velocity then Estrada has.
I wonder of the curve was the biggest cause for his blister issues, and led to this change in pitch utilization, and if its something we will see him continue to do moving forward.
Worked good tonight that's for sure.

Aw, our baby killa closer! I'm proud of him too, especially after his personal struggles last year.

This year's team just seams to have more of an 'it' factor than last year - lots of good off-season moves and signings. Subtle moneyball moves.

^^^Agreed. So far, they’re definitely making me look like a fool for predicting less than 75 wins and I couldn’t be happier about it.
If some key guys (most especially Sanchez) can stay healthy for most of the season, it’ll go a long way toward the Jays possibly getting in the playoffs as a wildcard.
It’s such a long season though and so many things can change that all you can do is enjoy the ride and see how things play out.
Very enjoyable so far!
