How about Tellez have six hits and all hits being doubles.

Back to back decent starts from Aaron Sanchez. Best of all he is keeping his walks to a minimum. Very encouraging.

His velocity seems to be up as well and he's got some swing and miss stuff going. Hopefully hes healthy going forward.

Watching the Jays feels alot like the days of watching the Raptors back in their inaugural season with roughly this team on the court.

I am going to my first Jays game on Thursday next week. Excited for it, even though the team is terrible.

Oh of course. He was the Raps best thing to ever happen before VC came along.

Tracy Murray on that list I posted there there was pretty good too, but the rest of the players on that list of that 95-96 team. Umm...yuck.

Do you remember seeing Vincenzo Esposito play for the Raptors? The cheesy music that would be played when he'd enter a home game. Was supposed to be a sharpshooter but was more like a bricklayer and oh boy did he in particular ever commit some epic turnovers.

It turns out the Cardinals offered impressive rookie pitcher Jack Flaherty and one other player for Donaldson, an anonymous Blue Jays official told Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY. Of course, Toronto rejected the offer, opting to retain the 2015 American League MVP.

And that's probably a bare minimum the Jays could've gotten back for him. I really do think that was a colossal mistake even more in hindsight, but more gets me angry because ownership/management took fans as idiots. Baseball fans seem to be pretty hardcore and "knew" that this year was a rebuild year, so dealing Donaldson would've been okay with the fanbase. Instead they risked it and lost bigtime. The injury wasn't fully foreseeable but the possibility was. Gambled and lost it - wish management would be able to be asked the tough questions of what they were thinking this past off-season.

SRF walks the first two batters then gives up an infield single. He then throws a borderline pitch called a ball to the next batter.

Maile then chirps from the dug out and gets tossed. Gibby comes out and rips the ump and gets tossed himself.

SRF proceeds to K the next 3 batters. Awesome stuff. Love to see that from a young pitcher.

Grichuk pops his 2nd dinger of the game.

The Jays certainly seem to have found at least a nice complimentary piece in him.

Didn’t catch the game but saw 10 Ks from SRF which is awesome. Definitely a work in progress but encouraging signs. Man I’m gonna miss Gibby getting tossed from games.

Requisite implosion from the middle relief guys.

But then they would have lost out on all of his contributions this year...oh wait.

Sure looks like one thing the Jays didnt mess up was the Osuna trade.

Giles looks like he's found new life in TO. They get a legit closer with control left plus two potential swings at getting a starting pitcher in Paulino and Perez. Paulinos stuff looks filthy so far and if he can stay healthy he could very well be a starter next season or at the very least an effective bull pen arm.

Anyways the last three starts by Borucki, SRF and today by Pannone are sure nice to see. And against the best of the best too.

Borucki with 8 innings of 3 hit, shut out baseball tonight against the Os. I wonder if they give him the shot at a complete game. No Jays starter with a complete game so far this year.

1 walk and 7 Ks as well.

Edit: sounds like hes coming out.
